The Software Literacy Foundation

Is a not for profit 501(c)(3) public charity with the goal of providing opportunities for young people to gain knowledge and skill in modern software programming techniques, enabling and inspiring them to pursue educational and career choices in software development.

Program Director & CEO

Joseph C. Park, PhD, P.E.

Joseph Park has a broad spectrum of scientific research, teaching and engineering experience spanning multiple disciplines, including software development for IBM, the Office of Naval Research and other multinational corporations. He currently works with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, National Ocean Service, providing scientific and engineering analysis at the Center for Operational Oceanographic Products & Services.

John is the Managing Member of the West Palm Beach office of McDonald Hopkins LLC, Attorneys at Law, and a member of the Firm's Executive Committee. John was named as one of the “Florida Legal Elite” by Florida Trend, serves on the Business Advisory Board of the Pine-Jog Environmental Education Center and on the Finance Committee of St. Ann's Church. John has received a Pro Bono Achievement Award for his work with St. Ann’s School, and the Outstanding Pro Bono Service Award by the Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County.

Michael Mullin was a regional sales director for Izod Lacoste before embarking on a distinguished real estate career. Mr. Mullin is a leading advocate for Children’s rights, is widely respected in the community, and brings incomparable negotiation skills and dedicated service to the Foundation.

Michael is a Executive Board Member of Bethesda Memorial Hospital, a fully accredited, community, not-for-profit hospital serving southern Palm Beach County.

Mr. Mullin is also a Director and Executive Board Member for the Boys And Girls Club of Palm Beach County, a not-for profit youth development organization dedicated to promoting the educational, vocational, health leadership and character of boys and girls in a safe, nurturing environment.

Corey A. Park
Wake Forest University

Corey is a Psychology major at Wake Forest University and has a history of public and community
service in South Florida, North Carolina and the Dominican Republic.  He facilitates and coordinates Foundation programs, and serves as an instructor during classes.
