The Software Literacy Foundation

Is a not for profit 501(c)(3) public charity with the goal of providing opportunities for young people to gain knowledge and skill in modern software programming techniques, enabling and inspiring them to pursue educational and career choices in software development.

    Joseph C. Park, PhD, P.E.

    Joseph Park has a broad spectrum of scientific research, teaching and engineering experience spanning multiple disciplines, including software development for IBM, the Office of Naval Research and other Fortune 500 corporations.

    He is currently a senior scientist and engineer at the U.S. Department of the Interior South Florida Natural Resources Center, the Congressionally authorised science agency guiding Everglades Restoration. Dr. Park is also a research collaborator at the Scripps Institution of Oceanography, where he develops and applies software for nonlinear systems analysis.

    Michael M. Mullin, III

    Michael Mullin was a regional sales director for Izod Lacoste before embarking on a distinguished real estate career. Mr. Mullin is a leading advocate for Children’s rights, is widely respected in the community, and brings incomparable negotiation skills and dedicated service to the Foundation.

    Michael was an Executive Board Member of Bethesda Memorial Hospital, a fully accredited, community, not-for-profit hospital serving southern Palm Beach County.

    Mr. Mullin is also a Director and Executive Board Member for the Boys And Girls Club of Palm Beach County, a not-for profit youth development organization dedicated to promoting the educational, vocational, health leadership and character of boys and girls in a safe, nurturing environment.

    Corey Park

    Corey holds a Psychology degree from Wake Forest University and a Master of Science in Computer Science and Engineering from Florida Atlantic University.

    Corey has a history of public and community service in South Florida, North Carolina and the Dominican Republic.  Corey is currently a data scientist and product manager at Amazon. He facilitates and coordinates Foundation programs, and serves as an instructor.
